Hemorragia intracerebral espontanea revisión de la literatura

Resumen


La Hemorragia Intracerebral espontanea permanece siendo una causa de morbilidad y mortalidad importante alrededor del mundo. Después del accidente cerebro vascular de origen isquémico, constituye la segunda causa de morbimortalidad asociado a patología cerebro vascular. Se ha demostrado que un excelente cuidado médico se asocia a un pronóstico favorable en el caso de estos pacientes. Un importante deterioro ocurre en las primeras horas de desarrollo de la condición. Más de un 20% de los pacientes mostraran un deterioro de más de 2 puntos en la escala coma de Glasgow desde el diagnostico hasta su llegada al hospital. En vista de las repercusiones que presenta dicha condición se realizó una búsqueda de la literatura al respecto con el fin de actualizar al clínico sobre el manejo de esta patología en los tópicos referentes a hipertensión arterial, intervención quirúrgica, manejo de las crisis comiciales y finalmente la prevención de la recurrencia la cual es muy importante sobre todo en el primer año del evento.
