Situando al estatuto temporal de protección para migrantes de Venezuela en Colombia desde una perspectiva global
Resumen
El análisis sitúa al Estatuto Temporal de Protección para Migrantes de Venezuela en una perspectiva global al compararlo con los mecanismos de protección temporal turco, estadounidense y europeo para responder al desplazamiento ocasionado por la guerra en Ucrania. El objetivo es entender las especificidades del mecanismo colombiano que ha sido celebrado por diversos actores de la comunidad internacional, los contextos en los que los distintos mecanismos fueron creados, quiénes son sus beneficiarios, los distintos derechos que los estatutos ofrecen, su temporalidad, entre otros criterios. Los resultados indican que, si bien el modelo colombiano cuenta con una serie de innovaciones y ventajas para la población venezolana, hay aspectos que pueden ser mejorados para el bienestar de los desplazados forzosos.
