COMPETENCIAS RELEVANTES DE EMPRENDEDORAS LÍDERES DE LA CIUDAD DE AMBATO

Resumen


La ciudad de Ambato, Provincia de Tungurahua (Ecuador), considerada como cuna de gente emprendedora en la época actual caracterizada por la incertidumbre política, social y económica, ubica al emprendimiento como un elemento determinante para el fortalecimiento socioeconómico de un país por lo que adquiere gran importancia evaluar los factores que influyen en el emprendimiento femenino de la ciudad de Ambato. El objetivo general de la investigación es establecer las competencias relevantes que poseen las emprendedoras líderes de la ciudad de Ambato. De tal manera, la investigación emplea una metodología con un enfoque mixto, es decir cualitativo y cuantitativo; el alcance es descriptivo para determinar cómo se comportan las características de su entorno, y su relación con las motivaciones y percepciones de los participantes en la generación de la cultura y el comportamiento emprendedor. Dentro de los principales hallazgos están haber identificado las principales competencias como: la paciencia, conocimiento y la empatía. De igual manera se identifica un perfil de las emprendedoras líderes y de sus empresas.

 

ABSTRACT

RELEVANT COMPETENCES OF SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEURS WOMEN IN THE AMBATO’S CITY

The Ambato city in the province of Tungurahua (Ecuador), considered a city of enterprising people, considered as the cradle of entrepreneurial people in the current era characterized by political, social and economic uncertainty, places entrepreneurship as a determining element for the socioeconomic strengthening of a country for what it acquires great importance to evaluate the factors that influence female entrepreneurship in the city of Ambato. The general objective of the research is to establish the relevant competencies that the leading entrepreneurs of the city of Ambato possess. In this way, the research uses a methodology with a mixed approach, that is, qualitative and quantitative; the scope is descriptive to determine how the characteristics of their environment behave, and their relationship with the motivations and perceptions of the participants in the generation of culture and entrepreneurial behavior. Among the main findings are having identified the main competencies such as: courage and the ability to take risks. In the same way, a profile of the leading entrepreneurs and their companies is identified.
