Flexibilidad y regulación laboral en la industria manufacturera venezolana
Resumen
Se analizan las distintas manifestaciones que asume la flexibilidad laboral en la industria manufacturera venezolana, sus causas y sus consecuencias, en especial los efectos en las condiciones generales de trabajo y la influencia que ejercen los marcos regulatorios en la relación laboral. Se conciben las tendencias flexibilizantes asociadas a un proceso de reestructuración productiva que parte de las iniciativas unilaterales del capital, constituyéndose en una estrategia fundamental para reducir los costos laborales y aumentar la tasa de ganancia. Así mismo, se sostiene que la flexibilidad laboral puede darse sin la desregulación y en mercados laborales rígidos como en el actual caso venezolano.
