Más que mil palabras: el video-ensayo como herramienta para la enseñanza y el aprendizaje en el aula EFL

Resumen


El video-ensayo ha ganado terreno en el entorno educativo, en particular, en los escenarios pospandémicos actuales que han favorecido la implementación del formato de educación a distancia y la adaptación de herramientas tecnológicas al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Dado que el video-ensayo permite incorporar información en formato visual, oral y textual, el presente artículo explora su potencial como herramienta de enseñanza/aprendizaje del inglés como lengua extranjera, revisando tanto sus aspectos teóricos como sus aplicaciones prácticas en varias experiencias de uso en el aula de clases. Por último, el artículo resume diferentes estrategias para incorporar esta herramienta a la enseñanza de las cuatro destrezas comunicativas requeridas en el aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera.
