Una mirada a la formación empresarial para el desarrollo del espíritu emprendedor en las universidades

Abstrac
Universities are directed to already transmit, to the future generations, the knowledge, the values and the necessary skills, so that they can promote the economic development of their country; in such a way that the undertaking and the education could be an urgent and inevitable alliance. This would settle down the debt that has been accumulated with generations of young people, who have not found in the knowledge that is given to them, the tools adapted to their social, academic and labor development. The objective of this investigation is to propose the culture of the undertaking entrepreneur as a component of the Agricultural Engineering career at the Nucleo Universitario “Rafael Rangel”, a campus of the Universidad de Los Andes in Trujillo State. The information of the study was collected during a field work; using the survey-like technique and the questionnaire as instrument, with the purpose of investigating about the attitude of the students of the advanced semesters, professors and recent graduated Agricultural Engineering related to enterprise formation for the development of the undertaken spirit. The results demonstrated, on the one hand, the deficiency of enterprise formation of the Agricultural Engineer, finding weaknesses as far as emotional security, determination, optimism and capacity of organization and; on the other hand, strengths such as the creativity, autonomy and independence and necessity of the benefit to conceive and to develop projects. The findings indicated previously served as criterion to suggest the creation of a component of enterprise development to enhance an enterprising spirit in the Agricultural Engineering career at the Universidad de Los Andes.
